Blog: Urban Americana Shoot on Swooned

XOXO Marquee light up letters

Happy 4th of July!  This Urban Americana styled shoot with a red, white and blue color scheme is a perfect fit for this summer holiday. We used blue seersucker fabric as the basis for our inspiration, incorporated red in with our XOXO Marquee Letters and with flowers, and made a white, ethereal backdrop out of cheesecloth and our Chuppah Frame. It’s the perfect breezy urban summer look!

The shoot was at River Market Event Place, and included the talents of their in-house floral designer Anna Arnot. Sugarbean Paper Company made a great invitation suite, as well as a menu and adorable cake topper. Altar Bridal provided the simple but gorgeous wedding gown and embellished it with a seersucker sash. Leslie Stauffer-Cooper did a wonderful job with hair and makeup. The Vintage Plate Company provided vintage plates in the red, white and blue color theme, as well as silver flatware, and we provided the Blue Colored Glass Goblets, Seersucker Runners, Custom Ceremony Backdrop on our Chuppah Frame, XOXO Marquee Letters, Whiskey Barrels, and White Cake Stands. Moxie Catering did a gorgeous cheese tray spread and Babycakes provided the cute cake and cupcakes. Cornerstone Photography captured it all beautifully!
