Sarrah and Bob contacted us after seeing a ceremony backdrop installation we did for an open house at River Market Event Place. (Psst! There’s another open house this week – Thursday August 7, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM! Come see what a bunch of awesome vendors put together for this one.) They were getting married at River Market Event Place and wanted something special for their ceremony backdrop, so they contacted us.
The backdrop we did for the open house used a rustic iron arch, string lights, and cheesecloth, but Sarrah and Bob had the great idea of using our Birch Arch instead of the iron arch. We installed the string lights, cheesecloth and birch arch, and Good Earth Floral Design Studio added a gorgeous garland. It turned out beautifully! It also helps that Cornerstone Photography takes such great photos!
I love the wedding favors Sarrah made for all their guests – she took slices of wood and burned each guest’s name into them. The tags were for guests to write advice to the bride and groom, which they could then hang on a tree branch behind the favors.
Good Earth Floral Design Studio did a beautiful job with the reception centerpieces, achieving the natural, woodsy feel Sarrah and Bob envisioned.
Moxie Catering supplied a range of delicious food, including a street taco station, as well as their famous cheese tray.
