What a great idea for capturing the spirit of the day or for favors! It wouldn’t be too hard to organize, particularly in bigger cities where there are always young artists trying to get by that you could help support. If you do it for favors, especially for a larger wedding, I suggest hiring a couple of sketch artists, so they can keep up with the demand. The only issue would be FINDING artists that can sketch quickly and loosely enough! In the Kansas City area, perhaps try the Kansas City Art Institute, the Arts Incubator (whose website is currently down, you can call them at (816) 421-2292) or Hoop Dog Studio.
