My default use for apothecary jars is in a candy buffet; but I was having a look around the old internets and noticed people have been using apothecary jars for table centerpieces with great results! The jars give some height to the look and can make a very simple decoration, like limes or mini-pumpkins, look fantastic. I particularly like the centerpieces with the pumpkins, as I love fall weddings. Not that I had a fall wedding- June bride right here, in the heat, but with a rainbow!
OK, back on topic: apothecary jars! You don’t need very many on a table to make it look good, and the filler can be super cheap and easy. Limes are somewhere around 3 for a $1, and those little pumpkins are 2 for a $1 (even cheaper if you are getting married in November). You just plop them in the jar and you’re done! If you are more adventurous, the terrariums in apothecary jars are also fantastic.
You can check out the apothecary jars Ultrapom has on hand here. And as always, if you want more than what we have, or something different, ASK!
