Oh my goodness, so many unique elements in this client wedding! The bride, Staci, is a designer, so she had a great time creating the look and feel of their wedding to reflect her and Dan’s personalities. Staci and Dan got married on Staci’s parents property, so Staci was pretty much starting from scratch. In the months leading up the wedding, the property got a bit of a facelift, from clearing out a field, to seeding the lawn. Staci was also busy crafting items for the wedding, from a brooch bouquet, to a ceremony backdrop of out fabric. Neal, of LemonLime Photography, did a great job of capturing all the details, as well as documenting the joy and love that was so evident in this wedding.
Staci arrived at the ceremony in her grandfather’s 1964 Dodge Dart. He had passed away 10 years prior and left it to her brother, so it held special importance to her to use it.
Staci chose a purple polka dot fabric to have the bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmens’ ties made from. She had her dress significantly altered, the bridesmaids’ dresses, bridesman’s vest and the groomsmens’ dresses were all made by Rhonda, of Rhonda’s Creations. Staci made burlap roses for the bouquets and boutonnieres.
Staci made a backdrop out of fabric for the ceremony, which did double duty as the photo booth backdrop during the reception! Staci used the photo booth prop templates from Oh Happy Day.
Staci was really busy before the wedding! On top of everything else, she also made this seating sign, as well as the Mr and Mrs pennant and the paper flowers shown further below.
Staci used our burlap table runners and filled different glass jars with wild flowers and paper flowers. To tie in with the bridesmaids’ dresses and bouquets and the groomsmen’s ties, Staci used lavender napkins tied with jute.
Dan is a brewer at Boulevard Brewery, so of course they had Boulevard beer on tap!
In keeping with the beer theme, Dan and Staci made candied malt as thank you favors.
Staci used our 2 in. clear globe string lights to light up the tent. I love it when these lights are used in tents – it always looks so phenomenal, and sets a great atmosphere.
Thank you, Staci and Dan, for sharing your wedding with us! It looked like everyone had a great time, and it turned out beautifully.

What did the bride write on the favor bag?
Hi Christine,
They wrote “Enjoy some Candied Malt, made with malt from Boulevard by the happy couple” (the groom is a brewer at Boulevard Brewery, here in Kansas City)
So cute! Thanks!
