Blog: The Five-Year Engagement Movie Ticket Giveway

Ultrapom has been given several tickets for an advance screening of the movie the Five-Year Engagement next Tuesday, April 24 at the Screenland Armour in North Kansas City!

The movie is about a couple (Jason Segel and Emily Blunt – I love both of them!) who have trouble turning their engagement into actually getting married.  Jason Segel  (from Forgetting Sarah Marshall) co-wrote it and Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, the 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek) produced.  It also has Rhys Ifans, Chris Pratt (from Parks & Recreation!) and Alison Brie (from Community! Oh yeah, and Mad Men) in it – what a great cast.

To score tickets, just:

1. Leave a comment here about your favorite crazy engagement story or like our Facebook page (if you already like us, just leave a comment!)

AND

2. Email your name and mailing address to info@ultrapom.com

Well, I have never been proposed to let alone engaged, but I can tell you how I would begin an engagement with the special man in my life at this time. I would take him on a picnic were I would serve him his favorite meal. Then have him pull out the wine where two rings would be tied to the kneck and a specially made label of a photo of the two of us and the words “Will you age with me?” That is when I will say, “Our love can be like a fine wine only getting better with age. Will you age with me?” I know probably way too corny but it relates back to the two of us and our relationship. I hope someday he and I can become a beautiful fine wine together.
