Blog: Announcement – Oh Baby!

Update: Our newest member arrived on his own schedule – 12 days late, on 18 October 2012! Thank you all for the kind wishes and understanding.  I really appreciate it.  I should now pretty much be back to full tilt.

Ultrapom Event Rental has grown by leaps and bounds over the past year and a half, and I thank all our customers who have helped us get here.  We are a small  business, getting everything done between my two fantastic part-time associates, my web developer husband, and myself.

We’re about to grow in a very different way, and I want people to be able to plan ahead and around it. The newest member of our team, soon to arrive, will probably have a few years of baby talk before he can help us get orders out the door.

What does this mean for all of you?  Hopefully not too much disruption. Existing orders will go out as planned, thanks to the efforts of our associates, Kerry and Staci, and we are still accepting orders for future events.

It just means:

a) if you are wanting to place a last-minute order in the next couple of weeks, we may not be able to respond in time;

and

b)  there will be a bit of a delay in me responding to emails and phone calls.

So if you have an event coming up in the next several weeks, but have been waiting around to put in your order – don’t delay!

I am planning to be on a delayed schedule only for a few weeks, while I get to know my baby and establish a new normal in my life. I will still be processing orders, and answering emails and phone calls, it just may take a bit longer. By the end of October, I hope to be back to business as usual (or as usual as it can be with a new baby)!

We all, and especially me, appreciate your patience and understanding!
