Blog: New Love Stamps

As a sometime stamp collector (a habit I got from my mom) and graphic design aficionado (I only collect the pretty and/or cool stamps), I am very excited about the new stamps the US Postal Service has just released- the latest design of the Love Stamps:

wedding invitation stamps

The Love Series was introduced by the Post Office in 1973. This latest iteration was designed by José Ortega, with the main element of each stamp shaped like a heart. I love how the design overlaps from stamp to stamp, so if you need more than one (which is likely on wedding invitations these days) you can put them together without detaching them.

These are great stamps for a summer wedding! Make sure to stock up now, because, as with most stamps, there is a limited run and I bet they are going to go fast. Most post offices should have them (though my local office’s order hasn’t come in yet) or you can just buy them online here.
